Help Shiloh Fight a Brain Tumor!

Hey everyone, my name is Shelby Hanner. My sweet fur baby, Shiloh, needs your help!! He is 8 years old and full of life and love. He is the most gentle and kind baby. I rescued him when he was only 8 weeks old.

On Saturday, March 1st, he began losing control of the muscles/nerves in his right eye. Less than 24 hours later, he began showing scary symptoms: loss of his balance, unable to lay or get comfortable. He began circling non-stop, collapsing, and vomiting. I rushed him to the Emergency Vet on Sunday, March 2nd. That's when I was told that my sweet baby has a brain tumor/mass that is rapidly affecting him by causing pressure in his brain. They want to transfer him to the Mississippi State Veterinary Specialty Center, which is the nearest vet hospital with MRI machines and Neurologists. The bare minimum for just the MRI alone is $3,500. That’s not including the actual visit, any surgery, or treatment plan to follow. The vet informed us that realistically we are looking at $8,000-$10,000 for the proper care he needs and deserves. The problem is everything has to be paid in full upfront before he can be treated due to policies in the state of Mississippi. Despite exhausting our options, we are simply unable to afford such a large medical bill.

I can’t fathom not being able to get my sweet fur baby the care he needs. It’s breaking this dog momma’s heart.

I know he may be “just a dog” in many people’s eyes, but to me, he is my child. He is my whole heart. He has covered me in love and light for his entire life, so I will not give up on him!
