Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

Our hearts are broken as we share the unimaginable journey our 2-year-old granddaughter is facing. On April 10th, she suddenly and inexplicably became gravely ill. What began as a normal day turned into a life-threatening crisis, and we are still without clear answers as to why this is happening.

Since that day, she has been in critical condition, fighting for her life. She had to be on a ventilator, connected to ECMO (a machine that provides heart and lung support), and is received continuous dialysis as her tiny body struggles to cope. She has already endured multiple surgeries, including one where her intestines had to be removed due to the extreme build-up of fluid in her body. Doctors have even had to drill into her bone marrow in urgent attempts to stabilize her condition.

Watching her go through so much at such a young age is heartbreaking beyond words. She is fighting with all her strength, and we are doing everything we can to be there for her every moment.
