Hello, my name is Michael Price, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help to save my dog, Maverick my loyal companion, my adventure buddy, and truly, my family.

This morning started like any other. Maverick and I went fishing early by the river, one of his favorite things to do. I let him off his leash so he could get a drink and enjoy a bit of freedom something he loves. But in just a few moments, everything changed. Maverick got tangled in discarded fishing line, and before I could react, a hook got lodged in his mouth possibly deep near his throat.

I rushed him to the vet as quickly as I could. After examining him, they told me the heartbreaking news he needs immediate treatment and surgery to safely remove the hook. The estimated cost is between $1,500 and $2,000, something I simply cannot afford on my own right now.

Maverick is not just a pet he’s my best friend, my fishing partner, my comfort through life’s hardest days. He’s always been there for me without question, and now, I need to be there for him. But I can’t do it alone.
