Help Save My Baby Girl Lily – My 4-Year-Old Cat Is in Pain and Needs Urgent Medical Care

Hi, I am Lily’s mom and I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and hands trembling with worry. My sweet, gentle cat – my baby girl – is only 4 years old, but she’s going through something no creature should have to endure.

A few days ago, I noticed she was straining to pee, constantly licking herself, not eating or moving enough and crying in pain. I rushed her to the vet, terrified. The diagnosis? Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) – a painful, chronic condition that affects her bladder – and possibly bladder stones, which can be life-threatening if not treated. The vet said more tests, ultrasounds, and possibly surgery will be needed soon to make sure her bladder doesn’t rupture or become blocked.

Hearing that shattered me. She’s not just a pet – she’s my family. She sleeps curled up next to me, greets me with her little chirps, and has been my quiet source of comfort on days I didn’t know how to keep going. She’s only four. She has so much life left to live.

But vet bills are piling up. So far, I’ve spent what little savings I had on initial visits and pain relief for her. Now I’m facing hundreds, possibly thousands, more for imaging, treatments, and potential surgery.

I hate asking for help. But I’m doing it for her.
