Rally for Jimmy: Critical Care Required
Donation protected
February 2, 2025
Clark and Spring are so grateful to have reached the halfway point of the financial goal which has allowed Jimmy to have the expert care of the University of Georgia (UGA) Veterinary School. Jimmy continues to make great progress which has amazed the veterinary staff at the school. He has now started his necessary physical therapy in Chattanooga that will allow him, over time, to regain his natural and spirited mobility. As we move into this stage of Jimmy’s journey we invite everyone to not only contribute but to share the word of Jimmy’s incredible story, as told in Jimmy’s GoFundMe. Any contribution, large or small, will help us reach their much needed financial goal. Once again, Clark and Spring are forever grateful for everyone’s love and support for Jimmy.
Here are the earlier details of Jimmy's voyage:
I wrote the first few sentences here to start our GoFundMe, but please see below for an update. Very inspiring.
Clark and Spring’s wonderful dog Jimmy ran off the other day.
He was found after about ten days of being gone and is in serious condition.
It’s clear that his care is going to demand significant funds and I know they would be ever so appreciative and grateful for any help from all of their family and friends.
“Our sweet frisbee dog was found yesterday(12/15). It looks like he was struck by a car. He’s been fighting to stay alive for 2 weeks so we are fighting for him. He is being cared by the Veterinary teaching school at the University of Georgia. We are so very grateful he is safe, sound, and in good hands. We are so very grateful for everyone’s prayers which brought Jimmy home. Thank you for sharing this GoFundMe.”
Also I just heard that Jimmy had one surgery yesterday and another one is scheduled for tomorrow. So looks to be some great progress and sounds like the vets have been tremendous. So grateful.
This just came in from Spring….
I just heard from UGA. Jimmy is doing really well. They removed the IV catheter and the urinary catheter. Jimmy is still trying to use all four legs when they take him out and he’s been able to pee and poop outside. They said that everyone has just fallen in love with Jimmy and enjoy his sweet personality and playfulness. I’ll hear from them in the morning, and they are expecting him to be able to come home tomorrow afternoon.
