Help Save the Scenic Highway Pup ❤️

If you've followed the story of the dog near the High Rocks pull-off on the Scenic Highway, you know this sweet boy has been through a lot. After several days of watching, searching, and coordination with the community, he was finally rescued — but he's in rough shape.

He’s currently at the vet with broken bones and is being evaluated for further treatment. We’re now working on getting him to a specialist in Charlottesville to give him the care he needs to recover and walk again.

This dog was alone, scared, and injured — but thanks to the efforts of many kind people, he finally has a chance at a better life. Now we just need your help to make it happen.

Emergency vet care and X-rays

Specialist visits and possible surgery

Medications, transport, and follow-up care

Food, supplies, and a safe place for his recovery
