Urgent Care Needed For Coworker’s Puppy After Hit-and-Run

My coworker's puppy was recently hit by a car that hopped the curb/sidewalk during daylight hours, hit the dog, and then drove off without stopping. He is unable to walk or use his legs at all after being hit by the vehicle. He was taken to a vet immediately and was kept there overnight. My coworker was told that he has severe nerve damage and may have a vertebrae out of place from the incident that may not ever heal. He has been at a specialist's office since this morning, in attempts to find how to improve his condition. Now the specialist has advised my coworker to take her puppy to a neurologist in Gainesville, Florida, where they have the MRI machine needed to investigate his injuries/possible treatment further.

I am asking on behalf of my coworker for ANY help that anyone can provide. She has been and will be having to take time off work during all of this. She has 2 large veterinarian bills already and surely the hospital bill/travel will run her a pretty penny.

Please help me help my coworker and her precious puppy. EVERY CENT COUNTS.
