My name is Rilee cohen and this is my cat

Blackie. He is an approximately 8-month-old male cat whom we rescued several months ago and have been caring for since. He recently fell from a stacked washer and dryer unit that reaches the ceiling.

We took him to a veterinarian, where we were told he may have a fractured femur. We were informed that if we could not pay for treatment immediately, they would put him down. We left because we cannot accept euthanasia without exploring every possible option to help him.

Blackie is young, otherwise healthy, and an extremely sweet, affectionate cat. He is not aggressive and has a very gentle temperament. He has been an important source of emotional support for me, and losing him would be devastating.

I am doing everything I can to find care options, financial assistance, or rescue support so he can receive treatment and pain management. I am committed to his recovery and am willing to comply with strict rest, follow-up care, or alternative treatment plans if surgery is not immediately possible.

I am asking for any assistance, guidance, or referral to low-cost services that could help save his life. I also unfortunately do not have transportation out of bishop at the moment
