Hi everyone...

My sweet girl Basil has had a terrible accident. She got tangled in the window blinds and was left hanging upside down for several hours before I was able to get home and rescue her. I rushed her to the vet, and at first, they believed the swelling was normal. Unfortunately, her condition has since worsened, and she now has a deep laceration on her paw. She will need at least stitches—and possibly surgery—to repair the damage and ensure her paw is functional again.

update: Basils right foot is no longer viable and they need to amputate her leg in order for her to live unfortunately
