My cat zephyr is currently fighting for his life.
He has feline calicivirus, and right now he’s going through a severe flare-up that has led to a secondary upper respiratory infection. What makes this especially terrifying is that he has started open-mouth breathing — something that is extremely dangerous in cats and often a sign that they are not getting enough oxygen.
Watching him struggle to breathe has been heartbreaking. He’s exhausted, uncomfortable, sneezing and coughing.
This isn’t something that can wait. He needs urgent veterinary care, including diagnostics, oxygen support, and treatment for both the infection and the calicivirus complications. The costs are adding up quickly, and I’m doing everything I can to get him the care he needs.
I’m asking for help because I don’t want finances to be the reason he doesn’t get a chance to survive.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to me. And if you can’t, sharing this page could help us reach someone who can.
