Help Save Selvyn “Chunky” Blair – Paralyzed & In Urgent Need of Surgery

We are reaching out with heavy hearts on behalf of Selvyn Blair, affectionately known as “Chunky,” a 47-year-old father, brother, and friend who is currently fighting for his life in May Pen Hospital, Jamaica. After a devastating injury that left him completely paralyzed, Selvyn is in urgent need of spinal surgery that must be done at Kingston Public Hospital to have any chance at recovery.

What Happened?

Selvyn suffered severe injuries to his spine, neck, hands, and feet, leaving him with:

No feeling in his legs or arms

No control over bowel movements or urination

Complete paralysis and confined to a hospital bed

He doesn’t even know when he passes his feces—this situation is not only heartbreaking but rapidly deteriorating.
