Rosie was attacked by a pitbull in our yard on 3/30. Thankfully, our son Kalan jumped in and pulled her out of its mouth. She was seen by a vet, and we were told that her wounds will require surgery to repair and that she will have a long healing process.

We did what we could to make her comfortable for the time being while we try to raise the money for her surgery and aftercare. She is currently on pain medication and antibiotics. If we cannot afford the surgery, her prognosis is poor, and putting her down will be the next step. She has been with us for 11 years, and we are not ready to give up on her. She just needs a little help from friends and family.
