Pickles was adopted after being abandoned as a kitten. She is a three month old domestic shorthair and she had been a great housemate to my older cat, Snooki. However, since coming home, she has had a cough that has progressively gotten worse. On the Fourth of July weekend, she was taken to an emergency vet for labored breathing and taking breaths through her mouth, which is very abnormal for cats. She received some treatment and antibiotics but needs a chest x-ray to fully diagnose the problem.
