Urgent Care for Peter's Spinal Recovery

Hi, my is name Peter Chila.

Twenty-one years ago I was involved in a serious construction accident, falling 14 feet onto a pile of steel beams. I landed on my side which nearly paralyzed me for life. I was rushed to Mountain Valley Medical in Londonderry, Vermont and then immediately rushed to Rutland Regional Medical Center.

I suffered a serious direct impact injury to my spine, multiple broken ribs, both collar bones injured, 84% of my vertebrae are compromised and out of alignment, as well as a severely damaged nervous system.

I had no choice but to return to work as soon as possible to support my wife and 2 young boys.

My spine remains extremely damaged as shown in the current x-ray. In addition to pain in my back and legs the injury caused routine “cluster headaches,” a pain so extreme It’s hard to believe I’m still alive. My ex-wife would find me outside at 4am in sub zero temps because cold is the only thing that lessens the pain. This was occurring daily when I found Dr. Bergman in March of 2022. After 8 weeks of treatment in March and August of 2022 I experienced some relief, for the first time in 20 years I began to imagine a life without constant pain. Unfortunately due to my financial restraints I haven’t been able to return and complete the treatments needed. I’m now developing nervous system complications that are extremely challenging and my pain is increasing. I feel my body breaking down.

I was told by the Dr. that without treatment my nervous system will continue to degenerate, as I age and lose muscle the additional strain on my spine will put me in a state of constant pain, barely able to move. This will be a slow, painful death.

My condition requires a highly specialized and world recognized Chiropractic Neurologist.

My spine requires at least 600 corrective procedures.

16 procedures per week. 10 hrs per day, 4 days per week.

Each procedure includes Spinal Manipulative Therapy, Spinal Mobilization, and Joint Mobilization procedures.

I’m a family man and have always done what it takes to provide for my family. I’m always willing to lend a helping hand and have had many people turn to me in their time of need.

I’ve always taken pride in being able to provide for those that I love and don’t want to end my life unable to even care for myself. It’s very hard for me to ask others but I see no other way.

It’s now my turn to ask for help.
