Help Save Our Dog After Swallowing a Skewer

We never imagined we would be facing an emergency like this.

Earlier today, our beloved lab unexpectedly swallowed a wooden skewer, and we are now facing urgent veterinary care and possible emergency surgery. We rushed to get help because wooden skewers can cause serious internal injuries, blockages, or punctures in the stomach and intestines.

Right now, we are doing everything we can to get our dog the treatment she needs as quickly as possible. The emergency vet visits, imaging, monitoring, and possible surgery are already becoming overwhelming financially, but we cannot risk waiting when her health and safety are on the line.

Anyone who knows us knows how much our dog means to our family. SHe is more than a pet — she is part of our everyday life, our comfort, our laughter, and our family. Seeing her uncomfortable and not knowing what could happen next has been heartbreaking.
