Introduction / Rescue Story

This young white cat was just rescued after being found with bleeding ears and facial injuries. He’s terrified, in visible pain, and his condition has worsened rapidly — the once-fresh wounds have now turned black and are spreading toward her nose (see photo).

Current Situation

She will be taken to Donna’s vet tomorrow for urgent care. The vet team has warned that her injuries are severe and may require:

* Sedation for a full exam

* Wound cleaning and debridement

* Strong pain relief and antibiotics

* Possible surgical intervention if the tissue is too damaged

Estimated Costs

Based on similar cases, her veterinary care is expected to cost:

* Initial assessment & sedation: \~\$200–\$300

* Wound cleaning, medication, antibiotics: \~\$380+

* Possible surgery & tissue removal: \~\$400–\$600
