Urgent care for injured blind cat
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Abigail Stauber. I go to Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. The other day, I found a shorthair grey male cat that appears to be blind, has some respiratory issues, some cuts and infections, and a swollen eye. I found him on my campus running in circles, having no idea where he was going. I was eventually able to scoop him up, and he was very confused about what was going on. I put him in a carrier and called every vet and humane society within 40 minutes, and no one can take him in. I cannot take him in; I have two cats, and I also don't have the funds to do so. He needs to be seen as soon as possible by someone, and no one I have talked to can take him for what he needs. He's currently living in my apartment bathroom and he is very scared. He has just started eating, but I'm not sure he gets the concept of indoor food dishes as I had to put the food on a plate for him to eat it and he isn't interested in the water. He has yet to use the litter box after 24 hours but hasn't gone on the floor. He finally gave in to the love last night and sat on my lap, doing the best he could to purr and make biscuits.
