Hi, Josh here. Gabby is my beloved 4-year-old French bulldog; she is my emotional support animal, and I don’t know what I would do without her. Gabby came into my life 6 months ago, and ever since, I have loved and adored her. She helps me with anxiety and gives me purpose in caring for her. I live in a group home for people with disabilities and had to fight for years to be able to even get an emotional support animal.
In a series of unfortunate events on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, Gabby was accidentally let out of the house unbeknownst to me. She ran after me as I was leaving to run errands and became lodged under my tire. She sustained injuries to her front left paw, her abdomen, including bruised lungs, and a hind leg injury. We rushed her to the emergency vet as there was a lot of blood, and she was struggling to breathe (more so than normal Frenchie behavior). After a series of tests, treatments, and observation, she was transferred to a 24-hour emergency vet in Bluffdale, Utah. She has racked up a few thousand dollars in vet bills and needs continued care, such as daily wound care and potentially future surgery.
She is going to make a recovery but has a long road ahead of her. I am on disability income, so I don’t have a lot for vet bills. Any amount that you can spare is greatly appreciated. Gabby means so much to me; I don’t know what I would do without her. All donations will be used for her medical care. Thanks you so much from me and gabby.
