Urgent Care for Cricket's Broken Leg

On Friday, March 14, our family dog was hit by a car in front of our house. I was running towards her when she was hit; the driver that hit her didn't stop.

Cricket is in intensive care and needs surgery to repair her broken femur. By the time her surgery is complete, our estimated cost of care is $30,000.

This is also about Bowie and Sunny. Our kids. This is our family member, their pet, their best friend, their constant dining companion. "Dog" was Sunny's first word. Cricket is by Bowie's side for every adventure. Cricket is my late-night sofa buddy. Cricket is Katie's shadow, always following her around the house, and sleeping beside us on her dog bed every night.

The only reason Cricket won't survive this is: money. We are asking for the help of our family and friends to keep our children's best friend in our family for the lifetime she deserves.
