This is Buddy. He's a terrier/chihuahua mix and he's my best friend. My name is Dolly Conner, and I am a 67 year old retiree. Buddy and I live in Blacksburg, Virginia on a fixed income (social security). Last week when we were visiting a son who lives in rural Pilot, Virginia, Buddy got outside and ran away. He was gone several hours and traveled over a mile and a half before a nice lady found him and contacted me (contact information on a tag he wears).

While Buddy was on his "adventure," he somehow got injured. After he returned home, Buddy showed signs of his injury when he would literally scream in pain if picked up. When he was examined by the vet and X-ray ed, it was discovered that Buddy suffered a back injury. Further testing revealed a heart issue, as well. Buddy required 3 prescriptions for pain and muscle relaxation.

Because we do live on a fixed income with a very tight budget, Buddy and I are seeking assistance in paying the vet, testing, and the 3 prescriptions. Any help is very much appreciated.
