Urgent Care for Bodhi: Jennifer Needs Help

My name is Sheryl and I have a grand fur baby named Bodhi. My daughter Jennifer is Bodhi's mom. Bodhi came to join our family when he was just a tiny puppy. Bodhi is a Bernese Mountain dog, so he’s all grown up now. He is a big couch potato who is so gentle and loving.

On October 11, 2024, I was scheduled to have back surgery. Unbeknownst to me, Bodhi collapsed and lost control of his back legs. My daughter was with me in the hospital, and Bodhi was rushed to the emergency vet by family members. Jen had to act calm so as not to upset me. That was one of the hardest days of her life. They performed several tests and really don’t have an answer. Bodhi needs further testing such as CAT scans, blood work, and neurological tests. As of this date, about $2000 has been spent.

Jennifer is a single mom to a daughter and a son. She has a good job, but this is way beyond what she can afford. Jennifer has worked with training dogs and always grew up around animals. Bodhi has always been a dream of hers. She was thrilled when Bodhi came into her life!

I know that times are difficult. It’s hard to reach out for help, but Bodhi could really use your help in any way you can.
