We are Global Students for Climate Justice, a growing youth movement committed to bold and equitable climate solutions. Our mission? Mobilizing students worldwide in alignment with the International Court of Justice's historic call for urgent climate action. This work is supported by the Center for the Promotion of Global Health (CPGH), a Montreal-based organization advancing innovative projects for sustainability and peace.
As world leaders prepare to gather for COP30, we are truly facing a pivotal moment in human history. The stakes have never been higher—and yet, without sustained public and grassroots pressure, many of the transformative changes we so urgently need will remain out of reach.
To take our future back, there must be REAL CHANGE from what previous meetings have produced.
In light of this, we are taking strides to organize an independent international environmental summit—one that would complement, rather than replace, the COP process. The goal of this summit would be to secure legally binding commitments among willing states and cities in areas such as the Global Methane Pledge, the 30x30 Biodiversity initiative, and key aspects of the Paris Agreement. We draw particular inspiration from the Montreal Protocol, whose success owed much to binding commitments and broad international cooperation. Any resolutions would require ratification by individual nations to take effect.
Your support can make this movement unstoppable. Every donation contributes to real change, equipping us with the resources to reimagine global collaboration.
