Urgent Call for Help: Save My Family from Losing Everything
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Kind-hearted People,
Today, I reach out to you with a story of unimaginable hardship, yet also of unwavering love and a desperate hope for a future. My family – my incredibly strong mother, my brave, severely ill little sister, and my dependent grandfather – are in an extremely precarious situation in Thailand, and I can’t help them on my own. We urgently need your support to save them from complete ruin.
My mother has worked tirelessly her entire life. 30 years ago, she built a small, private kindergarten from scratch, and has educated and nurtured countless children in our community across generations. This kindergarten is not only her life's work – but also our sole source of income and our home. Currently, she still has about 10 students, and the monthly teacher salaries and operational costs have become a heavy burden.
However, the past few years have been a chain of devastating blows that have pushed my family to the brink:
- Years of Abuse and a Toxic Relationship: Three years ago, my mother finally ended a long-term and very stressful relationship which was verbally and emotionally abusive for decades, but the repercussions still haunt us. Before leaving, the kindergarten’s good reputation – her life's work – was damaged and its substantial financial resources were withdrawn, leaving us in immense difficulties.
- The Burden of Care and Exploding Costs: My mother is the sole caregiver for my little sister and my 84-year-old grandfather. My grandfather is in very poor health and cannot care for himself. Recently, he had to be hospitalized for several weeks. The medical bills were immense and completely depleted our savings, pushing us even deeper into debt.
- The Tragic Illness and Multiple Ailments of My Little Sister: My dear sister's life has always been marked by health setbacks. She was born with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease leading to gradual vision loss, and malformations of the foot muscles and tendons that make walking difficult. Additionally, she has an intellectual disability, which significantly impacts her development and requires special support and care in daily life. In recent years, her health has dramatically worsened: she suffers from PTSD and depression, requiring comprehensive psychotherapeutic care, and now also struggles with hearing loss and kidney insufficiency. These complex and often interconnected diagnoses necessitate permanent medical care, therapies, and numerous medications. The monthly costs for her essential treatments and therapies are astronomical and are pushing my mother to her financial limits.
- Another Blow and Existential Threat: As if all of this weren’t enough, my uncle suddenly passed away from heart failure – who had been caring for my grandfather. And the next blow: a scooter accident involving my mother's school van. My mother took responsibility, paid for the vehicle repair, and even the medical treatments for the three people involved. However, this family repeatedly sues her and continuously demands more money, driving my mother to the edge of despair.
The monthly expenses for all this are crushingly high and have plunged our family into a financial crisis from which we cannot recover without support. My mother is now hopelessly drowning in debt with over 2 million Baht (over 50,000 Euros). We are on the verge of losing not just the kindergarten but our family home and inheritance. To recover from these catastrophes and secure my family's existence, we desperately need approximately 4.5 million Baht (approx. 120,000 Euros). This money would clear the debts, cover the most urgent treatment costs, and give my family a chance to get back on their feet.
I know this is a large sum. But so is the weight my mother is carrying. Every Euro, every Baht – whether 5, 50, or 500 – counts and helps us take one more step out of this nightmare and toward hope. Please help us save my mother's life's work, continue providing the essential medical care for my sister, and give my grandfather a dignified final chapter.
Please share our story with friends, family, and anyone who has a heart for those in need, donate, and be a part of our rescue. Together, we can make the impossible possible.
On behalf of my mother, my sister, my grandfather – and all the children who still wish to learn and laugh:
Thank you for your compassion and support.
With deep gratitude,
