Three years ago, I left my country and my family behind with a suitcase full of dreams and a lot of courage. It hasn't been easy — it's been an emotional rollercoaster, full of setbacks and small victories, of learning what it means to be alone in a new country. But I'm still here, building my life one step at a time.
A few days ago, I received news that stopped me in my tracks. I had a mammogram, and the results came back with a finding classified as BI-RADS Category 5 — highly suggestive of malignancy. My doctor is recommending an urgent biopsy. I am here alone. I don't have health insurance. And the cost of this procedure is beyond what I can afford right now.
Asking for help doesn't come naturally to me. But today, I have no other choice. If you can contribute any amount, you'll be helping me take the most important step of my life right now: finding out what is happening in my body and acting in time. If you can't donate, sharing this campaign is also an enormous act of kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
