Urgent Biopsy for Kresenda

This fundraiser is for my friend and co-worker, Kresenda Frank, to help her obtain a crucial and time-sensitive test for breast cancer.
I was lucky enough to meet and work with Kresenda at The Barker Lounge, in Sevierville, TN, where she has worked for 5 years. She is a hard worker, a trustworthy and generous friend, and absolutely devoted to her family. In all my years working around dogs, rarely have I met someone with such a resounding patience and kindness for both animals and people alike.
She is the sort of person who walks into a room with a contagious smile and sunshine in her pocket. She treats the dogs under her care as old friends, always with gentleness, encouragement and respect. She is a good person, and well loved. There is no doubt in my mind that she deserves all the support that we can muster together.
Three weeks ago, Kresenda discovered a hard mass in her breast, and since then has undergone two mammograms, two ultrasounds, and an MRI. Based on the results of these tests, her doctor is concerned about the possiblitiy of IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer).
IBC is a rare, but aggressive form of cancer. It is imperative that testing is done as soon as possible, so that treatment can be started immediately if the result is positive.
Unfortunately, Kresenda has no health insurance. Having been denied by several private insurance companies, she was able to find a doctor and hospital nearby her family home in Kentucky who has offered a 30% discount. So far, she been paying for tests and travel expenses out of pocket. The biopsy to test for IBC is a surgery under anesthetic, though, and the cost is steep.
The test is scheduled for next week, but the doctor will not perform the surgery without a significant payment up front.
Our Goal is to raise $5400

Estimated fees: $400
***$619 has to be paid by January 30th, or they will refuse to treat her.***
This ordeal has been unexpected and frightening for Kresenda and all those who know and love her. Despite the hardship and worry, Kresenda has continued to face each day with courage and a positive attitude, as is her way.
Please help this amazing woman get the care she needs, and consider making a donation to our fund and sharing this post on social media to help us find further support.
Again, we need to raise at least $619 by Tuesday, January 30th in order for the surgery to proceed as scheduled.
