Urgent: Aurora's Cat Needs Your Help
Donation protected
My name is Aurora. My almost 2 year old cat needs a blood transfusion. The initial vet visit is estimated to cost $6,000 to $8,000. Any little bit helps.

We’re still not exactly sure what’s wrong with Torii, other than that she’s very anemic and jaundiced. We took her to a veterinary hospital in Franklin, where they did a blood smear. She’s now back home with us on steroids and antibiotics.
The vet said it’s unlikely to be a flea- or tick-borne illness since both of our cats are indoor-only. The most concerning possibilities are cancer or an autoimmune disease.
For now, she’s resting at home. Her appetite has improved a little—she’s even trying to sneak some of Willow’s kibble again. I don’t know how much time we have left with her, but we’re going to love her with everything we’ve got for every day we do.

Torii has been on antibiotics and steroids since Saturday and has already shown significant improvement! We are taking her to the vet tomorrow to recheck her packed cell levels and PCR testing. PCR tests will determine if this is a flea or tick borne illness. We have also been calling vets in the area for quotes on transfusions.
