Our community, including our dedicated tech and non-tech colleagues in Tennessee, has recently been deeply affected by unexpected news of a significant company restructuring.
This challenging situation has resulted in the distressing reality of over three missed paychecks and job furloughs for many individuals, leaving them and their families facing immense uncertainty and hardship, especially as the holiday season approaches.
These individuals are not just colleagues; they are our neighbors, friends, and family members. They dedicated their time and skills, and now, through no fault of their own, they are dealing with the sudden loss of income, health benefits, and the stability they once relied on.
Many are struggling to meet basic needs, including rent, childcare costs, critical medical expenses, and daily necessities.
