Urgent assistance to bring Remi home, aiding my recovery.

After nearly two months in the hospital, I am back home. I'm still very weak and unable to leave the house though, let alone work. To make a long and complicated story as short as possible, I have Lupus, which combined with a severe bacterial infection have damaged my liver to the point that I need a liver transplant.

I'm struggling physically, emotionally, and financially but doing my best to exercise and get to the point that the doctors can approve me for the transplant.

One of the hardest things for me is that Remi is not here yet. She has been boarded since March and I have to pay that before they will bring her home to me. As most of you know I adore her and she is the most important part of my life. I am heartbroken without her and really need her with me as soon as possible to help with my recovery.

It has always been difficult for me to ask for help, but I have accepted that I need it. I am flat out broke with no income, so, I have set up this GoFundMe to help bring her home. Please help if you can, and spread the word to others who may not see this. I can't begin to express how much I will appreciate it.

I am overwhelmed by everyone's generosity today. I never expected to raise the money to bring Remi home so quickly! Thank you all! Though I do have the house set up so she can go out on the deck and do what is necessary it is less than ideal, so I have raised the goal so I can also have someone walk her once a day until I am able to do so myself.

I raised the goal once more, as I keep thinking of additional expenses for Remi. I was reminded tonight that she is due for her annual checkup and shots for example. She also has difficulty with hardwood floors, and since I am unable to be in the carpeted part of the house I need to address that with some hallway runners and floor covers we can both safely walk on. Every little bit will help me with things like that. Thank you all!
