Hi everyone -

We have created this page in support of a friend, colleague, and fellow CSU Ram community member. To protect their privacy, we hope to keep this person anonymous so as to not highlight their struggles publicly while still sharing their urgent needs.

Our friend and colleague, who has shown incredible resilience as a survivor and dedication in their work, is now facing the painful reality of significant financial strain. Along with the risk of eviction, they are also facing other expenses like medical bills, transportation to and from campus, monthly bills, and basic necessities. As a single-income household, these costs make stability feel out of reach. This is someone whose presence deeply enriches our team through their commitment, compassion, and the strength they bring to our office each and every day. It is important that we strive to cultivate a true community of care. In this moment, that means standing together to ensure our colleague doesn’t have to carry this burden alone. By coming together, we can honor the value of their work, show them they are not alone, and help prevent the loss of safe housing and medical care.
