Indigo was playing ball on Saturday, September 27th and injured her spine, suddenly becoming paralyzed. Her situation did not improve within 48 hours after a cortisol shot so she now needs an MRI to diagnose the exact injury and condition. From there we can find out what treatment may be possible, but she doesn't have insurance and we can't get there without that expensive MRI, so we're looking for urgent funds to complete her testing ASAP, and then to continue whatever care will be necessary.

In the past 3 years, Monica has lost her brother, her father, and her previous senior pit bull, Hazel. She has been unable to work for most of this time while caring for her father and undergoing two back surgeries of her own, so funds are depleted right now.
