Hi. My name is Jenn and I am making this go fund me with hopes of helping my best friend Jodi and her amazing son Joseph. Thursday, May 30th, they woke up to the ceiling inside there apartment collapsing. The main pipe had burst and the roof had collapsed and it was pouring down inside the building. The building is 3 stories high and the water was raining down destroying everything all the way down to the basement apartment. Jodi was able to quickly get Joseph out and then selflessly back in the building to help the other other families get themselves and their children out safely. They were taken to the salvation army where they were given ONLY ONE NIGHT IN MOTEL SIX! All state resources, shelters and housing are currently being used to house others. Besides having no place to stay as of today, they lost everything! Joseph has extensive medical needs! All his diapers, wipes, medicine, special supplies, toys, mats, etc had to be left behind. Especially since they were already wet and ruined. On top of that clothing, bedding, furniture, essentially all there belongings are gone! On top of needing funds to help replace these things, they really need a safe place to stay. If you know of any type of apartments available ASAP PLEASE REACH OUT!
