Urgent Assistance for Jaxper and Alex's Rent Crisis

Hello everyone, my name is Jaxper, and I am starting this GoFundMe for my fiancé, Alex, and I. A lot of you know that we have been struggling for a while now, but for anyone who doesn't know, here is what is going on:

My fiancé was working full time and was supporting the both of us, while I was trying to work with my Case Manager and Employee Specialist to land a position that was sustainable with my disability. He suddenly lost that job April 8th, where he was let go from his nearly 5 year job with the company. It shook us up, so we instantly went to work.

We were both suddenly applying to jobs, as many as we could. We were going through interviews and have had very little luck. We have been very limited in the jobs that we are able to work, as we do not have a vehicle to get around, so we are limited to jobs within walking distance.

We emailed our landlords to tell them and explain the situation, and they initially told us that we would be okay. That we could stay at our apartment until we figured everything out, and that we could work out a payment plan to get caught up once we were on our feet. We were super grateful for this.

Alex got a job working for Dunkin Donuts and is starting this week, however, his first week is only 20 hours. We knew it would be tight, but we were going to figure it out. We both donate our plasma to get a little extra cash, I'm still applying for jobs and attending interviews, things were looking up even though it was going to take a while to get back on our feet.

Then we got an email from our landlord. They have informed us that we must start submitting $500 a week from now until the end of June or we have to vacate the apartment by the end of May. We do not have that money, and with Alex only in training and starting at 20 hours, we won't even have that money when he gets his first pay check. We are facing being homeless.

And that is where we are now, as of May 13th, we are taking the precautions of packing up our things. We don't know what's in store for us or what the next step is. We thought we were getting back on our feet, but that rug was ripped out from under us and we are scared. I am starting this GoFundMe to try to catch up on rent, to buy us more time to get back on our feet. If you can't donate, then please share this around.
