Urgent Financial Assistance Needed for Displaced Family From Gaza

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Asia I once enjoyed beautiful and stable lives, and I have my own job and sources of income, cherishing moments with my family exploring cafes and tourist spots, capturing memories with photographs.

Unfortunately, everything changed for the worse after the events of October 7th. We lost our homes, stability, and livelihoods, finding ourselves in tents for displaced people in the Rafah camp in the Gaza Strip. Life became a daily struggle for survival, and our once joyous gatherings turned into the pursuit of basic necessities like collecting firewood for meals.

Now, we are in desperate need of immediate financial assistance to cover essential matters:

1. **Personal Expenses:** As we are currently without jobs, we are struggling to meet our daily personal expenses.

2. **Clothing and Bedding:** Having left everything behind during forced displacement, we urgently need funds to purchase clothing and bedding.

3. **Transit Costs:** We require financial support for the transit from Gaza to the Rafah crossing.

4. **Short-Term Accommodation:** Renting an apartment in Egypt for a short period is crucial for us to plan our next steps.

Hello everyone!

I’m Brittany from Southern California. I’m trying to help Asia and her actively displaced family in Rafah/Nuseirat raise money to start their displacement all over again. They finally raised enough money and got on the list to evacuate when the Rafah crossing was destroyed and now must find new amenities to survive all over again. My heart sunk when I heard the news. Every basic need is triple the price or more than usual and she and her family need help in any way possible.

Asia and I do not know each other but I have been following her account for a few months and have been talking, donating and sharing her stories the best ways I can. We love both adore food and hopefully one day will get to cook together. This is my first GoFundMe and whatever funds we raise will go straight to Asia and her family as the beneficiaries.
