Urgent Appeal to Save the Child Sohaib

Sohaib Morshed Mohammed Adwan (17 years old) dreamed of a bright future like other children around the world. He played for the Beit Hanoun City football team and won many medals there, but his dreams collapsed under the rubble of the brutal Israeli bombing that targeted Al-Qahira School in Gaza City, which was housing displaced families.

An airstrike destroyed his home, forcing his family to flee to a shelter like thousands of other children in Gaza. But even there, safety was nowhere to be found. Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the shelter he had fled to, inflicting severe injuries on Sohaib and resulting in the amputation of his left leg.

In a single moment, Sohaib lost his left leg and suffered severe injuries to his right foot, depriving him of the chance to pursue a professional football career as he had always dreamed. He is now in urgent need of medical treatment abroad, which cannot be provided under the total collapse of the health system.

Today, Sohaib lies on the bed of pain — unable to play, to embrace his loved ones, or even to stand on his own feet. His physical wounds are severe, but the emotional pain he endures at such a young age is even harsher. In addition to his injuries, he lost two of his siblings at the start of the war.

We appeal to kind-hearted individuals and humanitarian and medical organizations around the world:

Provide financial support to cover the costs of treatment and urgent transfer abroad.

Offer advanced prosthetic limbs and comprehensive rehabilitation care.

Provide psychological and social support to ease his suffering.

استغاثة عاجلة لإنقاذ الطفل صهيب

دمرت غارة منزله، مما أجبر عائلته على الفرار إلى ملجأ حاله كحال الآلاف من أطفال غزة . ولكن حتى هناك، لم ينعم بالأمان. استهدفت طائرات الاحتلال الغاشم الملجأ الذي نزح إليه ، فأصيب صهيب بجروح بالغة بترت قدمه اليسرى .

صهيب مرشد محمد عدوان (17 عامًا) كان يحلم بمستقبل مشرق مثل باقي أطفال العالم حيث كان يلعب في فريق مدينة بيت حانون لكرة القدم وحاز على العديد من الميداليات هناك ، لكن أحلامه انهارت تحت ركام القصف الإسرائيلي الغاشم الذي استهدف مدرسة القاهرة في مدينة غزة، والتي كانت تؤوي عائلات نازحة.

في لحظة واحدة، فقد صهيب ساقه اليسرى وتعرض لإصابات بليغة في قدمه اليمنى حرمته من احتراف لعبة كرة القدم كما كان يحلم ، وهو الآن بحاجة ماسة إلى علاج عاجل خارج قطاع غزة لا يمكن توفيره في ظل الانهيار التام للنظام الصحي.

اليوم يرقد صهيب على سرير الألم، عاجزًا عن اللعب، أو احتضان أحبته، أو حتى الوقوف على قدميه. جروحه الجسدية مؤلمة، لكن الأشد قسوة هو الألم النفسي الذي يعيشه في عمر الزهور فبالإضافة إلى إصابته فقد أخوته الاثنين في بداية الحرب.

نناشد أصحاب القلوب الرحيمة، والمنظمات الإنسانية والطبية حول العالم:

توفير الدعم المادي لتغطية تكاليف العلاج والنقل الفوري للخارج.

تقديم أطراف صناعية متقدمة ورعاية تأهيلية شاملة.

توفير دعم نفسي واجتماعي يخفف معاناته.
