We at Docyem Charity Foundation are reaching out with a deep sense of urgency and compassion to seek your support for Rashidat Adedokun, a 55-year-old woman currently battling chronic kidney disease.
Her condition began in March last year with symptoms we did not realise were serious — swelling of her feet and face. She visited the general hospital multiple times and was given medications, but there was no lasting improvement.
In January this year, after seeing a specialist and undergoing several tests, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.
Since then, Rashidat has been undergoing dialysis three times every week just to stay alive. Sadly, since the beginning of this month, she has been in severe and worsening pain, making her condition even more critical.
Medical Needs
• Kidney Transplant: ₦30,000,000 (~£17,000)
• Dialysis: ₦42,000 per session
• Weekly Cost: ₦126,000
• Monthly Cost: ₦504,000 (~£280)
Dialysis is only temporary — a transplant is her only chance at survival.
