Urgent Appeal Help Save My Brother's Family From Persecution

I am seeking urgent financial assistance for my brother, his wife, and their five children apply for refugee visas to Tajikistan. My brother’s family is in a dire and life-threatening situation, having fled Afghanistan to escape persecution and violence under Taliban rule.

Currently, they are stranded near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, living in unsafe and unstable conditions with no legal protections or means to secure a better future. Returning to Afghanistan would mean certain death for them, and they face constant threats and hostility where they are now.

As much as I wish to support them financially, I am currently unemployed and rely on Centrelink benefits. These benefits are barely enough to cover our own cost of living, leaving me unable to provide the financial assistance my brother’s family urgently needs. Despite these limitations, I have explored multiple avenues of support, including working with legal aid and community organizations, but the financial burden of securing refugee visas is beyond what I can manage on my own.

The funds requested will cover the costs of applying for Tajikistan refugee visas, offering my brother’s family a pathway to safety and stability. Your assistance will provide them with the chance to escape ongoing persecution and rebuild their lives in dignity and peace.
