URGENT APPEAL: Save a Family of 9 in Gaza

Saher Al Sendawi and his family of nine, including four children, are living a nightmare. They've returned to Gaza City, not to a home, but to the skeletal remains of one, destroyed by bombs. Now, they exist amidst the rubble, under a renewed barrage of attacks, and choked by a siege that starves them of life's essentials.

A YEAR OF HELL, NOW WORSE:

Their ordeal began on October 11, 2023, when their home in Remal was obliterated. They survived, but their lives were shattered. For months, they endured displacement, a flimsy tent in Rafah offering little protection from relentless shelling, disease, and hunger. The invasion of Rafah forced them to flee to Deir al Balah, a place of suffocating overcrowding, where they were pushed to the edge, living by the sea.

Now, they're back in the ruins of their former home. The renewed bombardment is constant. The siege is absolute. There is no escape, no aid, no respite.

"We are broken, physically and mentally," Saher says. "Every breath is a struggle. We live in terror."

Yet, the faces of his young sisters, Jana and Hanoush, flicker with a fragile hope. They are a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, even in the face of unimaginable suffering.
