My name is Hanan, and I am a Palestinian Canadian, living in Ontario, Canada urgently seeking assistance to help my family escape the devastation of the war zone in Gaza and reach safety in Egypt. The situation is dire; destruction and danger are rampant.

My entire family, including my father, five brothers with their families, and my two sisters with their families, are enduring unimaginable hardships.

In the midst of the chaos, we have experienced profound loss. Many of our relatives have perished, and both my brother and nephew have been severely injured. My nephew, a 13-year-old boy, tragically lost his hand and requires urgent, costly surgery. Their home, once a place of refuge, now lies in ruins, leaving them homeless and destitute.

The gravity of the situation cannot be overstated. Gaza has become a battleground where death looms at every corner, making survival a daily struggle. Basic necessities like food, water, shelter, and medical supplies are scarce, leaving my family in dire need.

Currently, they are seeking refuge in Rafah, but even there, the situation is untenable. The only viable option for their safety is to leave Gaza, but the exorbitant cost of crossing the border - $5,000 USD per person, in addition to travel expenses - is a barrier they cannot overcome without your help.

I am reaching out in the hope that, through your generosity, we can provide my family with the means to reach safety. Your support and contributions will make a tangible difference in their lives, offering them a chance to rebuild and recover from the horrors they have endured.
