Imani always tried to stay strong, but recent back-to-back events have shaken them to their core. Imani cherished a small room as their safe haven for 3 years. Now, the owner wants to sell due to unpaid rent.

What's made this situation even more difficult is that Imani has struggled with job instability in the past year, triggered by multiple instances of harassment/discrimination in previous workplace(s). These experiences made it incredibly challenging to maintain stable employment. Despite the immense courage it took to confront and overcome this adversity, they now find themselves freelancing and one month in a new part-time job, struggling to make ends meet while looking for gigs and making films.
