Urgent Appeal: Help Evacuate and Support My Family

My name is Reham, I'm Palestinian lam from Gaza Strip, and my family still living there.

I am reaching out with an urgent appeal for help as my family in Gaza faces dire circumstances following the recent conflict. The destruction caused by Israeli airstrikes has left my family of 14: My mother Fatima, my brothers Ehab and Ayman, my nieces Tala, Rama, Tasnim. and my nephews Baraa, Mohamed, Rayan, Abedraboh, Faris and Mohammed, and my sisters in law, Samah and Maryam. My 75-year-old mother with multiple health issues is using a wheelchair and has a heart condition, and my brother, who has a disability, in a situation that is beyond dire is also present in this horrid situation.

Last time I saw my family was 3 years ago, and I'm afraid any of them, or even all of them will pass away, as its happened with many families.

After the obliteration of their home, they sought refuge in a UNRWA school, only to be met with overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. Forced to evacuate due to security concerns, they are now residing in the Almawasi area, where life is marked by extreme challenges. Living in tents with no proper facilities for food, sanitation, or healthcare, their plight is worsening by the day.

My mother's health is a primary concern. With limited access to essential medicines and a lack of proper healthcare, her condition is rapidly deteriorating. The absence of basic necessities such as clean water, proper toilets, and the ability to prepare food is making survival a daily struggle, as she lost a lot of wight and she is developing a depression.

Moreover, the children in the family are deprived of education as schools have been destroyed. The outlook for rebuilding educational infrastructure is grim, leaving their dreams in jeopardy.

I have launched this GoFundMe campaign with a target of £40,000 to urgently evacuate my family from this crisis zone. The funds will be used for transportation, temporary accommodation, medical expenses, and essential supplies, aiming to provide them with a safe and dignified living environment away from immediate danger.
