Alaa’s Story:

A Father’s Fight for His Family

Alaa Obeid, 28, is a devoted husband and father to his young son, Abdulrahman. Before the war, Alaa worked hard to provide for his family, but everything changed when the conflict erupted. His son, Abdulrahman, was injured during the Gaza war, and Alaa was forced to flee with his elderly mother, leaving behind everything they had built. Today, Alaa is stranded without a source of income, unable to reunite with his family or provide for them.

Despite the immense challenges, Alaa refuses to give up. He dreams of reuniting with his family outside Gaza, pursuing a Master’s degree to secure a better future, and rebuilding a stable life for his loved ones. But without the means to travel or cover the costs of resettlement, his dreams remain out of reach.

Anas’s Story:

A Young Engineer’s Struggle to Rebuild

Anas Awda, 23, is a talented software engineer who graduated during the war. Like so many others, Anas lost his home and was displaced, forced to live as a refugee in Gaza. The war also destroyed his career as a software developer, leaving him with no way to support himself or his family.

Anas is determined to continue his education and pursue a Master’s degree in software engineering. He hopes to one day rebuild his career and help his family recover from the trauma of war. However, even if he secures a scholarship abroad, he lacks the funds to cover travel expenses, tuition, and basic living costs. Without support, his dreams of education and a better future remain unattainable.
