Hello Everyone,

I am Osama Braika and I am from Palestine, Gaza.

I am now living in Belgium having fled my country due to war.

My family and friends are still in Gaza and they are suffering even more now due to the recent catastrophic assault.

There is no electricity, washing or drinking water.

There is no food.

There is no medical support.

Air strikes are happening near to my home.

Everyday I check to see where bombs have landed to see if my family may still be ok.

Sometimes I don’t hear from there for days as the internet has been cut.

People are unable to leave. Aid is unable to reach them due to enforced border blockades.

I have joined with a small team of trusted friends in Gaza who can buy and distribute urgently needed aid and basic-necessities. Supplies are rapidly running out in everywhere. However, we can still buy from local markets, which people are unable to afford.

As there is not enough our team will be assessing to provide for those who need it the most.

I am raising funds to provide:

· An individual food pack = 20 Euros

(Consisting of items such as oil, rice, sugar flour, pasta, and tinned beans)

· A family sized food pack, 4 People = 80 Euros

(Consisting of items such as oil, rice, sugar flour, pasta, and tinned beans)

· Torch lights = 3 Euros

· One day drinking water for ten people = 6 Euros

Friends and family, Gaza is under attack. The illegal occupation for 75 years has tortured us. Our land has been taken. Our families and friends have been killed. Chemical warfare has been used on our children and babies. Everything has been destroyed. We couldn’t live. We had to flee. Others weren’t lucky enough to flee and now they are stuck with death at their doorstep, if not already dead.

I am not working as a registered organisation, I am an individual however I vow to use the upmost due diligence with your trust and donations. This I have learnt working with other organisations and volunteering during my time as a refugee in Europe.
