Urgent Appeal from Gaza - Help Majd and her Family

Hello,

My name is Majd Al-Ustaz, a 23-year-old Palestinian woman from Gaza.

I was born and raised in a land that knows both love and destruction — a land that taught me resilience far more than it allowed me to dream.

Throughout my life, I have endured more than five wars. These were not just distant events — they tore through my world, shattering my dreams, my home, and my sense of safety.

Before the most recent war, I was a student at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza, studying in the Faculty of Education, specializing in Primary Education. I dreamed of becoming a teacher — someone who could plant seeds of hope and knowledge in children's hearts. But the war came and destroyed my university, my home, and my path.

Despite it all, I did not give up. I kept studying remotely, even while displaced, living in tents, and surrounded by destruction. I believe that education is my only way out — my path to a better future for myself and my family.

Today, I live with my family in a tent, after our home was destroyed.

Life has become painfully difficult. We've lost everything. I can no longer continue my education or provide for my family's most basic needs.

During the war, I volunteered with several humanitarian and recreational initiatives in Gaza, working with children and families to try to ease their pain and bring them moments of joy.

Now, I find myself needing someone to help ease my pain.

So, after much thought, and with a heart full of hope and humility,

I turn to this platform and ask for your support — not out of weakness, but out of faith in humanity.

I am not asking for charity —

I am asking for a chance.

A chance to finish my education,

A chance to rebuild my life,

A chance to give my family a more dignified and secure future.
