I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share a story of hope and resilience that is very close to my heart. My best friend's newborn daughter, Aria, is facing a life-threatening condition known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). This is a rare and devastating birth defect where her diaphragm did not fully form, allowing organs to migrate into her chest cavity, impairing her lung development.

As a friend and supporter, I have witnessed the incredible strength and determination of Aria’s parents, Justin and Brianna, as they have tirelessly fought for the best medical team, treatments, and surgeries to provide the best possible chance for her survival. They have faced unimaginable emotional and financial burdens throughout this journey. At just 3 weeks of age, Aria underwent a crucial CDH repair surgery that significantly improved her chances of leading a healthy life. The cost of this life-saving surgery, combined with ongoing medical expenses, has placed an overwhelming financial strain on Justin and Brianna, who also have a very active, healthy 2 and a half year old named Asher. Justin has had to take extra time off work to be physically present at home, while Briana is a full time stay at home mom.
