Help Diana and her family find safety

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Diana and I am a Palestinian English teacher in Gaza. I am appealing to you for urgent help for my family and I, as we are displaced from our home due to the war in Gaza. After our displacement from Rafah, we are now living in a tent on the shore of the Sea of Zawaida.

Our current tent.

I graduated from the Al-Quds Open University in 2018 and I worked in many centres for two years to provide a source of livelihood for my family and I. After the two years, I opened my own education centre to be my own source of income. My centre was a small and simple project that had lots , but I had many beautiful students, 80 or more and we had wonderful activities and beautiful memories but it was burned down by the Zionist occupation, killing the dream for my centre to grow and martyring many of my students.

I worked all week to support myself and my family with food, clothes and other necessities of life. My mother suffers from heart and blood pressure problems, and my father suffers from colon disease, both of which require constant care and medication. My father was a carpenter and had a carpentry shop, and my brothers had a clothing shop that was completely destroyed. My younger brother, who is not more than 5 years old, is now suffering from malnutrition due to the difficult situation we are living in. We now live on the beach of Bahr Al-Zawaida and every morning we hear the sound of the boom, Danger is everywhere. There is no safe place in the Gaza Strip.

My family consists of 8 member and we were displaced from Rafah to Al-Zawaida. We moved from Khan Yunis, Deir Al-Balah and we slept on the sidewalk of the street in Al-Zawaida. The dogs, rats, the sound of bombing over our heads, tanks and the danger that surrounds us makes it impossible to rest. These two nights, we did not have a bathroom. Our bathroom was a bucket and the bitter cold was eating away at our bodies.

We now stay in a rental tent on the shore of the Zawaida Sea. I did not imagine this suffering and that it would happen to us one day. It was like a dream or a nightmare... I don't know, but the nightmare is over, but these difficult days have not yet ended.

Please consider donating to my family, no matter how little of a donation and sharing my link. Your support means everything to me.
Thank you.
