Hi, my name is Walie, and I’m from Cebu, Philippines—a place I proudly call home and hold very close to my heart.
In the past days, a series of powerful earthquakes have struck our beloved island, leaving many communities devastated. Homes have collapsed, families are sleeping in makeshift shelters, and basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical aid are desperately needed. As someone who grew up here, it’s painful to see the place I love hurting so deeply.
What breaks my heart even more is seeing babies and elderly people suffering the most—without milk, food, or proper care. These are our most vulnerable, and they urgently need our help.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you. I’ve created this GoFundMe to raise funds that will directly support families affected by the earthquake—especially providing:
Milk, diapers, and baby food for infants
Nutritious meals and supplies for elderly residents
Clean drinking water, basic medical aid, blankets, and hygiene kits
Temporary shelter support for displaced families
Every donation, no matter the amount, goes a long way in helping us bring relief to those in desperate need. I’ll be working with trusted local groups to ensure the aid reaches the right hands quickly and responsibly.
If you can’t give at this time, please consider sharing this campaign. Getting the word out can be just as powerful as donating.
Cebu has always been full of warmth, resilience, and community spirit—and with your support, we can help it rise again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
