Hi,
My name is Salah Shurrab, a son of Gaza.
Before the war, I had a simple but meaningful life. I worked as a graphic designer, and like many others, I had big dreams. I spent my days creating, talking to clients, and building a small future with hope. Life wasn’t perfect, but it had peace and purpose.
Then, overnight, EVERYTHING changed.
Since October 2023, my family and I have been living through war. We lost our HOME, our work, and a lot of loved ones. For over a year and a half, we’ve been displaced, struggling just to survive.
And now, we’re facing something even harder: FAMINE.
There’s almost no food. Clean water is rare. Even the smallest items are unbelievably expensive. My little siblings go to sleep hungry. They ask for food we can’t give them. We drink unsafe water and live in harsh conditions. There’s no school, no work, no safety.
I’m not sharing this for pity. I’ve always tried to stand on my own. But right now, we need HELP food, water, medicine, or even just sharing this message.
