I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for your support in raising urgent funds for a 12-year-old girl in Somaliland who is battling advanced Ulcerative Colitis, a painful and chronic inflammatory bowel disease.

This illness has caused severe inflammation and ulcers in her colon, leaving her in excruciating pain day and night. The pain is so intense that she often screams and cries, and her mother cannot afford the strong painkillers she needs.

She has been suffering for over a year. Now her condition has worsened — she is malnourished, severely anaemic, and extremely weak. The illness often prevents her from eating, especially during flare-ups.

Unfortunately, specialist care, medications, dietary support, and follow-up treatments are not available in Hargeisa. She urgently needs to travel overseas for advanced medical treatment.

Her parents have no financial means to support this journey. I personally know the family and can vouch for their honesty and dire situation.
