My name is Anna Cruz and I would like to ask your help for a friend.

"I am a newly arrived nurse from the Philippines. My family and I have been here in the United States for only 18 months, and we are facing an unimaginable crisis. We have two children, and our youngest son has serious medical conditions, including thalassemia and microcytic anemia, which cause growth and development delays, and easy bruising.

On April 14th, our two kids had an accident while playing, and our youngest fell, resulting in undiagnosed rib fractures. On April 20th, while I was at work, my husband was home with the children when our youngest began choking and lost consciousness. In a panic, my husband tried everything to revive him, including CPR. Although he regained consciousness, we rushed him to the hospital where multiple rib fractures were discovered. Despite his condition, he was discharged too soon and developed further complications, leading to repeated ER visits.

Sadly, this has led to a series of devastating misunderstandings. We are now accused of child abuse and neglect. CPS has taken custody of our eldest child, and my nursing license is under threat of revocation due to allegations from the hospital social worker.

We are in desperate need of financial assistance to cover legal fees and essential living expenses as we navigate this nightmare. We are new to this country and have exhausted all our resources trying to prove our innocence and care for our children.
