I'm Erik and my brother is Joshua Aquino.

Our father, Enriquito Aquino, recently underwent a successful double bypass surgery on 9/6/24 at Straub's Medical Center in Hawaii. Our mom and dad returned home on 9/30/24. Our dad was brought to Guam Regional Medical City the next night via ambulance due to high blood pressure. The ER doctor found a new tear around the aorta. This was due to high blood pressure and not the double bypass surgery. The doctor said if he wasn't brought in the ambulance, he would have gone into cardiac arrest. Our dad is still in the ICU and will not be released. Doctors are advising to fix the issue right away and to medevac to the Philippines. Our dad's insurance will not cover the cost of the medevac and anything incurred in the Philippines.

Our father tried to give my brother and me the best life that he knew how. He taught us to work hard and respect others. There was the occasional belt to the behind lol, it was deserved. We turned out pretty alright though. Our dad is strong in faith and no matter the outcome, he will not waver.
